                                                                            | In the last lesson, you learned how to use the verb a merge, which means "to go" in Romanian. | 
                                                                
                                                                            | In this lesson, you’ll continue learning common Romanian verbs. | 
                                                                
                                                                            | This time we’ll learn more about a face, which means "to do", or “to make”. You’ll see how it can be used in many different situations. | 
                                                                
                                                                            | So imagine someone asks you ¿Ce faci? | 
                                                                
                                                                            | That means "What are you doing?" | 
                                                                
                                                                            | So if you are doing your homework, for example, you will say in Romanian Fac temele. | 
                                                                
                                                                            | [slowly] Fac temele. | 
                                                                
                                                                            | Let’s break down this answer. | 
                                                                
                                                                            | First we had fac, which is "I am doing." | 
                                                                
                                                                            | It’s the 1st person form of the verb a face, which is “to do", in the present tense. | 
                                                                
                                                                            | Then, we had temele which is a plural noun meaning "homework." | 
                                                                
                                                                            | Let’s see some more examples. | 
                                                                
                                                                            | Fac de mâncare. is “I’m preparing the meal.” | 
                                                                
                                                                            | Fac treabă în garaj. is “I’m working in the garage.” | 
                                                                
                                                                            | As you can see, a face has different meanings beyond “to do”. | 
                                                                
                                                                            | So now, let’s take a look at what can you say with this verb a face in Romanian. | 
                                                                
                                                                            | It is one of the most useful verbs in Romanian – you can use it in almost every sentence! | 
                                                                
                                                                            | It can mean “to prepare” as we saw earlier, but it can also stand for "to make" as in Fac o prăjitură which means “I’m making a cake.” | 
                                                                
                                                                            | Sometimes, it can also mean "to gain or to earn" as in Fac bani din meditații which is "I earn money from tutoring." | 
                                                                
                                                                            | It can also replace a lot of other verbs, for example "to buy" as in Fac cumpărături  which is "I’m shopping." Or “to clean” as in Fac curățenie which is "I’m cleaning." |

                                                                            | In Romanian, we often say ¿Ce faci în seara asta? which means “What are you doing tonight?” to ask about plans. | 
                                                                
                                                                            | If you are with some friends at night and you haven't decided your plans yet, ask them! ¿Ce facem în seara asta? |
