Michael: Hi everyone, I'm Michael.
Larisa: And I'm Larisa!

Larisa: casă de schimb
[pause - 5 sec.]
Michael: Since Romania is not in the Euro Zone, exchange houses can be found almost everywhere. It is a smart thing not to use those places because they charge a big commission.
Michael: Now let's hear a sample sentence using this phrase.
Larisa: [NORMAL] Există o casă de schimb în aproape oricare centru comercial, în apropierea intrării sau lângă parcare.

[pause - 5 sec.]
Michael: The National Bank of Romania is one of the most important and well-known institutions in the country but there are many international banks that are operating in Romania. Because there are more than 35 different banks in Romania, it is very easy to open a bank account or to find an ATM at the corner of the street.
Michael: Now let's hear a sample sentence using this word.
Larisa: [NORMAL] Este ușor să plătești folosind transferul bancar.
Michael: "It is easy to make the payment using online bank transfers instead of paying cash."

Michael: "cake shop"
Larisa: [SLOW] cofetărie [NORMAL] cofetărie

Michael: Now let's hear a sample sentence using this word.
Larisa: [NORMAL] În București sunt multe cofetării elegante care vând deserturi tradiționale reinterpretate.

Michael: Inexpensive hair salons for both men and women are common in Romania. It doesn't matter if you go to a fancy hair salon or to the neighborhood barbershop, reservations are essential! Before they go to a hair salon, many Romanians pick out photos that best match with what they’re looking for to show to the stylist.
Michael: Now let's hear a sample sentence using this word.
Larisa: [NORMAL] Multe coafoare oferă masaj capilar în timp ce te spală pe cap dacă plătești un tarif suplimentar.
